Parent Partnership

Parent Partnership, is part of Education Support, and offers impartial information and support to parents of young people with Special Educational Needs. 

They are looking for volunteers to train as Independent Parental Supporters to support parents of young people with Special Educational Needs. 

The volunteers do a range of activities including filling information boards, visiting schools with parents, attending meetings with parents etc. to provide support and information regarding educational provision and procedures.

They are currently recruiting for the next accredited training course which will run from January-March 05, at Liverpool Community College. 

If you are interested and have some knowledge of Special Educational Needs and can spare two-three hours a week during the day.
