Giving up smoking

Smoking has been proven to be linked with heart disease and cancer. Research has also shown that even people who do not smoke are at risk when they breathe in second hand smoke.

If you want to give up smoking there is plenty of help available. Your own doctor can help and many doctor's surgeries have smoking clinics.

Fag Ends is a support group run by the Roy Castle Foundation. You can contact them by  telephone on 0800 195 2131 or visit the Roy Castle Foundation website.
